No seller or listing agent will ever have your best interest at heart in the transaction. The seller wants as much as possible money and the listing agent represents their client's best interest. Not yours.
Virginia is a Caveat Emptor state. This means Buyer be Aware. It is the buyer's responsibility to look out for themselves when buying a home. You need someone on your side.
